How to Apply

1. Make an appointment with a BIS admissions advisor. Call (434) 982-5274 or email the BIS Director of Admissions at buzzoni@virginia.edu.
    
2. Provide a completed BIS Application for Admission form, including the Application for Virginia In-State Education Privileges if seeking in-State tuition eligibility. Applications are available in the BIS office.
    
3. Provide official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities. The student is responsible for obtaining official transcripts. Students may request that transcripts be sent directly to:

   U.Va. School of Continuing and Professional Studies

   Charlottesville, VA 22904-4764
    
4. Pay the $60 application fee (make check payable to University of Virginia).
    
5. Provide TOEFEL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores if your native language is not English.
