NCBS 005 The Power of Food: Nutrition, Policy and Local Food
Course Description: This course will provide a background and explore current issues in nutrition, food systems and policies, and the local food movement—each guided by an expert in that field. Students will gain knowledge, tools, ideas, and resources to empower nutritional decisions and make active food choices. A field trip to a farm and a class on cooking, eating, and preserving local foods are also included.
