Introduction to Italian Language

Course Description: Learn the basic elements of conversational Italian language in this introductory course. We will practice greetings, spelling, numbers, and how to use cognates and associations to easily expand your vocabulary. You will learn to tell time, to ask questions, and to express yourself in the present and in the past tense. Your knowledge of Italian will grow as you learn to talk about personal characteristics, family situations, city sites, the weather and more. Readings on the culture and current events of Italian society will also be part of the curriculum.
