Master of Engineering with a major in Systems Engineering
The Master of Engineering with a Major in Systems
Engineering prepares individuals for careers concerned with the solution of
significant large-scale interdisciplinary problems. The degree requires
successful completion of 30 credit hours of coursework in addition to a 2-credit
supervised project. The program can be completed on a part-time basis.
Courses in the program are
taught live in Charlottesville and are transmitted simultaneously to multiple
locations around Virginia. These courses may be taken for graduate credit, or
for non-degree continuing education. To be used for graduate credit towards the
master’s degree,
application for admission to the program must be made prior to
enrollment.
This program is offered
through the University’s Commonwealth
Graduate Engineering Program (CGEP), which has served engineers and
scientists through distance education since 1983. Please visit their web site
for complete program information, including course descriptions and schedules.
